More Than Pretty Photos: This Is About How You Feel in Your Body

When you say you need to lose weight first, what you usually mean is you are afraid of what you will see. When you say you are not photogenic, what you usually mean is you do not trust that anyone can make you feel comfortable in front of a camera. When you say maybe someday, what you usually mean is you want this and you are scared to be that vulnerable.

This session is not about proving your body earned the right to be photographed. It is about giving you proof that you were worthy of being seen exactly as you were on the day you walked in.

Who This Portfolio Is For

This is for the woman who has spent years waiting for her body to become acceptable enough to document. It is for the woman who wants to look at herself without immediately criticizing what she sees. It is for anyone who has thought I would do this if I looked different, and is tired of waiting for that day to come.

“I walked in terrified and walked out wondering why I waited so long. Stefanie made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself.”

These Are Everyday Women,
Not Models

The women in this portfolio are teachers, nurses, business owners, and mothers, not professional models.

Most of them cried at some point during their reveal, not because the photos were perfect, but because they had never let themselves be looked at that closely before.

None of them had a model's body walking in. What made their session work was that they showed up anyway.

Questions Women Ask Me Before They Book

Everything you are wondering about before saying yes.

Q:  What is a boudoir photography session?

Q: Do I need to lose weight or get in shape first?

Q: Is this only for special occasions?

A boudoir session is a private photography experience focused on making you feel confident and powerful in your own body. Sessions happen in a private studio, are fully guided, and the images are yours to keep or share.

No. Every body is welcome in this studio, at every size and stage. This session is about how you feel, not how you look on someone else's scale.

No. Most clients book simply because they're ready to feel confident again, no occasion required, though many do book around an anniversary, birthday, or personal milestone.

Q: Will my photos be shared publicly?

No. Your session is completely private, and your images are never shared without your written permission.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Whatever makes you feel like yourself. I keep a client closet on hand as well, so you're never stuck if you're not sure what to bring.
